Mr. Moses Matovu
Moses Matovu is a dedicated member of the Executive Board of WANGONET,
bringing over 20 years of experience as a community development worker in the
NGO sector. Currently serving as the Executive Director of Huys Link
Community Initiative (HUYSLINCI), Moses has a strong commitment to
addressing the challenges faced by young people.
Moses's professional journey includes an enriching experience as an
International Fellow under the Fredskorpset International Exchange
Programme, where he worked with The Centre for the Study of Violence and
Reconciliation (CSVR) in Johannesburg, South Africa. His tenure at CSVR
focused on peace-building programs spanning across SADC Region countries.
With qualifications in Operations Management, Development Studies, and Public
Administration and Management, Moses brings a wealth of expertise to his role.
Moses advocates for a team-based management style that is flexible and
responsive to the evolving needs of the operating environment. As a member of
the Executive Board, he provides strategic guidance, sets policies, and ensures
the long-term success of WADNGNE. His extensive experience in combating child
abuse in hard-to-reach communities equips him with practical insights into
community mobilization methodologies and non-traditional tools.
